Chapter 19

Troubleshooting

“Failed to fetch” error+
The backend API is unreachable. Check your internet connection or, in local dev, ensure the backend server is running on port 4000.
“Validation failed” on save+
One or more fields don't match the expected format. Check GSTIN length (15 chars), email format, and required fields highlighted in red.
Invoice PDF has no logo+
Re-upload the logo from Settings; make sure the file is PNG or JPG and under 2 MB.
Wrong tax split (CGST/SGST vs IGST)+
Compare the state code of your organization and the customer. Same code → CGST+SGST. Different code → IGST.
PDF shows extra blank pages+
Update to the latest build. If it persists, reduce the number of line items or contact support with the invoice number.
